If you know ClassDojo, you will love Classcraft! You will have a fun, engaging way to manage behavior, class content, and students will earn points, rewards, powers, and more. So far, the best way to manage behavior in older kids (3-5).

2. Google Classroom

I'm a big fan of Google apps, and Classroom has been one of the most successful.

You can publish class content, assignments, announcements, plus, many other apps like Classcraft, are compatible with Classroom. In my opinion, one of the best updates that the Google Classroom has recently added, is the option to share classes with other teachers. I work in a three way split where I teach English Language Arts and Reading, one of my coworkers teaches Spanish Language Arts and Social Studies, and then my other coworker teaches Math and Science. Being able to share our three classes, have been very beneficial for both, our students, and teachers.

3. Fluency Tutor

This is an awesome tool, specially for bilingual, low readers, dyslexic, and SPED students. Set up your classes by importing them from your google account. You can assign reading

passages for your students, depending on their levels. What's neat about this app, is that has an embedded dictionary, pictionary, students can choose the voice and speed they want the app to read aloud, and they can also record themselves reading, which helps them develop fluency and a better pronunciation. An effective tool for reading assessing, and it's free!

4. Newsela

Another awesome reading app, this time for higher level students. You can assign passages, or students can choose them for themselves. The greatest thing about it is the attached quiz, which is great to increase comprehension.

5. Brainpop

This is an excellent tool to use with any subject. The videos and quizzes are engaging and

students really enjoy them. If your school or district purchase and educator account for you, you will be able to manage, and create content, videos, and more. The best of it, is that students can also create presentations, and content. Contrary to the previous apps in this list, this one is not compatible with google apps, but still, is worthwhile.
